General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with defenceman Theo Peckham on a one-year contract. Peckham will earn $1.075M next season. Peckham, 24, played in 54 games last season with the Oilers scoring a goal with two assists and 80 penalty minutes. The 6'2", 235-pound Richmond Hill, Ontario native has spent his entire career of five years with Edmonton and in 156 NHL games he has 17 points (4G, 13A) with 382 penalty minutes. Peckham was selected by Edmonton in the 3rd round, 75th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Good. I like Teddy Peckman. Hope he has a better year. Out with a concussion last year really slowed things down for him.
That fact that most of the HockeysRetards board bashes him means this is a good move.

Yeah the concussion slowed him down. The hockey boards would state Gretzky, Messier, and Kurri all suck.
