Thanks to the last round I am now .500. A perfect prediction.
The Los Angeles Kings vs The New Jersey Devils
When the playoffs started most believed neither of these teams would never make it past the first or second round. Now the NHL has the two biggest US markets in the finals. Both teams have had different paths. The Devils the harder road playing 18 games and two grueling series while the Kings have cruised to a mere 14 games. The Kings have had a 3-0 in all three series they have played and no team has won the cup being up 3-0 in the first 3 series. Can the Kings be the first? The Devils have an American Captain and only one other team (Dallas Stars) have won with an American Captain and only two teams with a non-Canadian team. The Kings have made three of the west's best teams look silly. The Kings are in a zone. The Kings are also big and maybe be too big for the Devils to handle. Broduer has the experience but will his age catch up to him? Will this be his last hurrah? Is Quick his apparent heir? The Kings have not lost on the road and have tied an NHL record with 10 straight NHL road victories.
Prediction: Kings win in 6 Conn Smythe: Jonathan Quick

Will be interesting, Broduer is brilliant but Quick is other worldly at the moment. Kings in 5, for something slightly different.
