As reported by TSN. www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=384679Good luck to him. I was a fan of his and wanted him to do better last year, but he was sick or hurt for the majority of the season and it didn't work out. Then, with the Nuge playing as well as he did and Lander being a MUCH bigger and more physical player, just seemed a better fit on the third/fourth line than Brule. I hope he does well in Phoenix. Good to see him back in the NHL and half his salary off the books.

I was disappointed to see Brule go as well. Probably wouldn't have changed the team situation this season that much, and his contract would be up and probably not renewed anyway. Might have fetched a 2nd round pick or something though, you never know. I am hoping someone claims Renney, Lowe, Tambs off waivers.... Didn't you hear? They are building 3 new statues beside the Gretzky statue for these guys.
