The man has made up his mind. LeBron James is heading to the Miami Heat.
James, undoubtedly the most sought-after free agent in this year's star-studded class, ended months of rampant speculation on Thursday night, making the announcement at a press conference dubbed "The Decision" by sports media.
The move sees James joining Heat mainstay Dwyane Wade and former Raptor Chris Bosh in Miami, bringing together an incredibly talented trio of players that had Heat fans drooling over the possibilities in recent days. They'll now get to see how that chemistry works when the 2010-11 season starts up in the fall.
James, a 25-year-old native of Akron, Ohio, broke into the league back in 2003-04 after going No. 1 overall in the NBA Draft in 2003, and (had/has) spent his entire career with the Cavs.
James quickly established himself as a superstar in the NBA; he scored 25 points in his first game, was named Rookie of the Year, and has since been a six-time All-Star, along with being the NBA scoring champ in 2008.
In 2007, James led the Cavs to the NBA Finals, where they were swept by the San Antonio Spurs.
Last season, the player nicknamed "King James" averaged 29.7 points per game, with 8.6 assists and 7.3 rebounds in the lead-up to an unprecedented class of free agents on the market.
He was also a member of the gold-medal winning U.S. Olympic basketball team in Beijing, China in 2008.

You spelt it wrong, it's "Dwyane" Because some people can't spell. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwyane_WadeI wonder if it was a mistake on the birth certificate. I know a girl who's dad couldn't spell her name so it ended up being "Brie-Anne" instead of "Breanne"

I don't really care, I just think it's a stupid way to spell Dwayne.
Kind of like people who spell Jaime "Jamie"
