Post your thoughts here during the Olympic games. Consider this the GDT for all their games. This will be for both the men's and women's teams.

Took a nap and now I see it's 13-0 Canada after 2 periods. Didn't get to see any of the goals, so I don't know how the game's looked.

Ryan had a story that Slovakia beat Bulgaria 82-0 a couple of years ago, so to beat them 18-0 is a huge victory. ;D

3-0 Canada after 2. Having the team only practice one day means there's a lack of cohesiveness but, fortunately, it's only Norway.

6-0 but I'm waiting to be impressed with Heatley and Iginla. We'll see how they do against real opposition.

Apart from Thor and Ole-Kristian Tollefson, none have played in the NHL, that I know of. So, this is a good warmup but I'll still wait and see how good this edition of Team Canada is.

Hee hee. Watching/listening to the Sweden v. Germany game. Good ol' Sven Butenschon is playing for the Germans. Anyone remember his short stint with the Oil? lol

I like the mention of a team called the "Grizzly Adams" and why Sven isn't playing for them.

Watching Canada vs Switzerland felt like watching the Oilers. Half the players on the team are lazy asses that won't chase after a loose puck. There was one play that sticks out where Eric Staal lost the puck and just coasted away from it behind the net watching when he was still the closest guy to the puck. The Swiss wanted it more and probably deserved to win. I honestly felt at times that they were going to. These guys better wake the fuck up.

You guys had to be sweating that game. For some reason Canada has a lot of trouble with Switzerland.
