I dont understand how the ump can call 1 guy safe and 1 guy out when neither were on the bag. Brutal call.

That is brutal. The only think I can think of is that the ump didn't see the tag on the trail runner, but I have a hard time believing that none of the umps did. Brutal call. It's pretty easy that both are out.

I think it was also the Yankees series with Minnesota but there a line drive down the 3rd base line that a Twins player hit. The ball landed a foot fair but the ump called it foul and cost the team at least a double and maybe a run or 2. It wasn't even close to being foul.

I think baseball is one of the lamest sports ever, but that call was brutal. Two guys not standing on the bag. Out and out. Even elementary school kids know that.

The problem with baseball is they have that rule in the area and it is an automatic out. The line drive in the Minnesota series was brutal. This was also brutal.
