I thought there was a thread when they got their new name but I guess not. The manager was freakin' out during a game the other day and it's been on the news the past few days so I had to post the picture. His name is Bowers, but I find it hilarious that it looks like Boners.

Do you go to any of the games, Jay? I went to the Trappers the first couple of years they were in Edmonton.

I went to Trappers games as a kid, and Edmonton Drillers soccer if anyone remembers that shit. Nothing as an adult except hockey, bit of lacrosse, and a few Calgary Cannons games.

Haha I saw that on the news. It was pretty funny.
The games are pretty cheap to go to. 12.50 is the most expensive tickets, of course after the ticketmaster charges it's about 15, but it's still not bad. I want to go to a game but Rem and I haven't been to one yet.

That is like The Iron Pigs by us. They are the AAA team for the Phillies and it cost 10 bucks.

The Golden Baseball League is something like AA, I think.
I think that since Katz bought the team, fans are coming out to watch the team. I read that the ownership of the Cracker-Cats was just bizarre. I don't know where the old owners came from but they were like a classic trailer trash couple. The guy's name is Dan Orlich, from Florida, and it was said that he dressed like a lounge lizard and his wife was one of those ugly spandex wearing types.

I am sorry. I am wondering how well baseball will do in Canada if The Jays do trade Halladay.

I think all the "celebrities" they have doing in-game events might be helping too. I know that Smackintyre and a few other Oilers were at the home-opener, and Gagner and Gilbert were in some "celebrity hitting challenge" not too long ago. Katz seems to know what he's doing.

I am sorry. I am wondering how well baseball will do in Canada if The Jays do trade Halladay. The Jays will have fans regardless of what happens with Doc. There were plenty of crappy years before him and plenty more crappy to come if he is traded. Toronto is the only MLB that people have in Canada and I cant see them leaving.

well JP supposedly dtated he will pnly trade Doc to the National League. If that is true, that is one of the only smart thjngs he would have done. What I mean Jay, baseball has no cap and they really need one. I am just worried, his trade may jusy make people say the hell with it.
