I've actually got a Hitman jersey from my days in Calgary. They're #1 once again.

Gotta have something to keep the grease stains off the driveway, I guess.

They were actually better than the Flames for the years I went to their games. The Brendl, Beech, Moran era.
Pavel Brendl did shit in the NHL though, but was he awesome to watch in the WHL......
Calgary Hitmen's franchise record for goals in a season (73) Calgary Hitmen's franchise record for points in a season (134)

The general consensus in Calgary those years was that the Hitmen would smoke the Flames if they ever played. Funny how it never happened for charity, probably due to the shame and embarrassment the Flames Org would have suffered.

There's only been 3 guys from the Hitmen that have ever had a decent NHL career. Ryan Getzlaf, Fredrik Sjostrom and Jarred Smithson. Most of their star players later became busts, even that team that went to the Memorial Cup.

Pavel Brendl was a cherry picker. I used to go to Prince Albert Raider games and the play would be in the Hitmens end and Brendl would be skating back and forth on the red line. He must have had more break aways than anyone in those seasons...lol.

Oh yeah, he was appropriately named "Pavel".

Well, the guys lost 5-0 in game 1. From what I read, the Oil Kings were getting the calls as well. Here's hoping they steal 1 in Calgary and then sweep the 3 games here.

I have a Hitmen jersey, I got the anniversary one and I think it is the best looking jersey around and it was in my pre Oiler days.
I havent been here for ages and I had forgotten how great Jays unzipping woman is, if there was ever a 3 second to make me fall in love then that is it

Alex Plante plays for the Hitmen. We don't have any prospects on the Oil Kings do we? Not that they're going to win anyway.

The guys lost 2-1 in OT after leading it late into the 3rd period. Would've been nice to have walked out of there with the win. Maybe it'll give the guys confidence coming back home for 3 games.

They lost 4-1 last night. It would suck for them to get swept.
