Is Geoff Sanderson the Darkhorse in all of this? He has tremendous speed and a great shot. He's a 2 time 40 goal scorer 4 times 30 goal scorer and two seasons ago with a lack lustre pheonix was a 25 goal scorer. If you can get him the puck chances are pretty good he'll get it in. With hemsky's talent for tape to tape passes and sandersons shot and speed... could he end up playing as our #1 LW if we don't pick someone else up? He has 116 ppg and 226 pp points so he can also perhaps help our PP. If he turns out to be a dark horse that's great, but at least there aren't high expectations like what happened with Lupul. Those 40 goal seasons were a long time ago but I think he'll do alright here. He's gotta be good for 10 goals at the very least. I also just read he's from Hay River, NWT so he shouldn't have any problem playing here in "Siberia".

well I like his speed, and he has had a solid career... so who knows.. He could very well be a darkhorse... and worst case scenerio he is another he plays 3rd or 4th line right were peterson would be.

And let's be honest....would anyone here actually prefer Peterson there as opposed to Sanderson?
I didn't think so.
I really hope he does end up being the darkhorse. He certainly has the capability to be one. Fast, good shot. Should be fun to watch.
