Strudwick's okay, but I don't foresee him having a huge impact this year. I think it's great that we finally got a decent fighter in MacIntyre, and like last night, I can see him changing games for us, but as far as skills, he's not a star. Erik Cole was a good pick up, but I'm happiest about Visnovski.
In the past few years, we've been lacking in at least one area - whether it was brutal goaltending, shallow defensive corp, or floating forwards, but we have real balance this year. Good goaltending, relatively deep D, and forwards who can actually get the puck out of the zone, make plays and score.

I voted Lube Master. He had an absolutely horrible game trying to control the puck last night, but he's been mostly solid other than that. They mentioned a stat that he's been the 3rd highest scoring d-man in the last few seasons. I also liked the guy in LA, so my opinion may be biassed.

I dont really know yet. -Struds has been solid, but he a 6th dman. -Macyntire, has been ok having him around almost seems like its keeping the other teams in check. both calgary games and the anahiem game werent as aggresive as I thought they would be, and I think it has to do with him in the lineup... -Cole has been getting better, game by game. Last night he was very good imho. He was hitting and driving the net. . . His first couple of games were kinda terrible tho. -Lubi has been ok so far. I see quite a few mental mistakes that cause odd man rushes the other way. Just pinching at the wrong time, and instead of getting infront of the guy, he is swiping at the puck with his stick.... But he is smooth and he has a rocket shot. He will continue to get better I think, he just isnt were i think he should be at.

Other than the one game where MacIntyre killed Dustin Boyd and then caved in Prusts ribs....I would have to say Visnovsky has made the biggest impact. The PP is in the top ten early in the season, and he has two of the PP goals, can't be a bad thing.
Should of had Souray on that list too considering he only played 26 games last year. Ten of them likely with a bum shoulder. Almost like having him new this season too.

Lube was my pick just because he has added the most so far this young season. At the same time thats pretty much to be expected of him. Strudwick---no real impact unless you like scoring on your own goal. Cole has been kind of invisible much of the season. Im sure as he adjusts he will be better. Big Mac--Its nice having a big man in the lineup that can take care of some of this teams stars.
