Canucks sign 32-year-old centre Jason Krog, who had 112 points in AHL Canadian Press Jul 14, 2008, 2:28 PM EDT VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Canucks signed centre Jason Krog on Monday. Krog, 32, had 112 points (39-73) in 80 regular-season games with the AHL's Chicago Wolves last season, and helped them to the Calder Cup championship. The five-foot-11 centre added 36 points (10-26) en route to earning the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy as playoff MVP. Krog has 58 points (21-37) in 198 career NHL games, most recently scoring three goals and three assists with Atlanta and the New York Rangers in 2006-07.
