Yes, I do believe they were.
Really nice outing by Burnett so far. Looks like he's pitching a gem. So far a four hit shutout of the Yankees.

Great game by AJ. At times this team has me believe. Once again its nice to see the Yankees in dead last place, even behind the Fevil Rays.

Jays' Halladay released from hospital TORONTO (CP) - Toronto Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay was released from hospital Saturday after undergoing a successful appendectomy, while infielder Ryan Roberts was recalled from triple-A Syracuse to take his place on the roster. Halladay underwent the procedure Friday, hours after he showed up at the Rogers Centre looking pale and complaining of a sharp pain in his right side. Halladay will miss 4-to-6 weeks. "He's doing good," said manager John Gibbons. "He may show up here (Sunday)." With the Blue Jays not needing a starter to take Halladay's place until Tuesday, the Blue Jays brought up Roberts while they figured out the extent of Troy Glaus's latest left heel flare-up. The all-star third baseman left Friday night's 5-1 win over Tampa Bay after his first at-bat when he felt what Gibbons described as a "pop" in his troubled foot. He's day-to-day while his medical exams continue. "Nothing has changed," said Gibbons. "It might not be as bad you think." If Glaus does end up going on the disabled list, it will clear space for Tuesday's starter - who will be one of triple-A starters Ty Taubenheim and Josh Banks or double-A prospects David Purcey and Jesse Litsch. Reliever Casey Janssen was considered but the team feels he's too valuable in the bullpen right now. Tuesday's pitcher may only be in the rotation briefly anyway, as off-days would allow the Blue Jays to go with four starters until the end of the month. Left-hander Gustavo Chacin, meanwhile, played catch for the first time since going on the DL with a sore shoulder April 28 and reported no problems. "I felt good," he said. Chacin will need a couple more sessions of catch and to throw off the mound before he can be dispatched to the minors for a rehab assignment. www.tsn.ca/mlb/news_story/?ID=207478&hubname=

I love how we took a guy out who was pitching a no-hitter.

They did that to Halladay earlier this season and then the bullpen went on to lose the game. Gibbons on the way out?

No idea. I kinda hope not. I like Gibbons. He's the closest thing they have had to a manager in some time.

Ricciardi did his job this season though, really no stupid moves.

I agree. I swear, being a fan of the Oilers or the Jays are enough to give a guy ulcers. Make some good moves and signings, but they still manage to do just barely well enough to get you excited, then go on a ten game losing streak only to win 5 of the next 7. Where's my pepto?
