One of those two was going to throw an INT in the last minute, it was obvious. As much as I hate Manning its nice to see the Pats not make it again. What a game though, a classic.

I like Manning. He wants to win and I love players like that on my team. I am Giants fan, so i like his brother too. I think Eli gets a bad rap being compared to Payton and if the Giants had good coaches and properly devolped their players they would be better. Once again, Eli's numbered improved this year.

Watched the last bit of the game. Never a good option to throw into double coverage. The Pats might also have faired better if Caldwell caught a couple of those easy passes.

Yeah Caldwell has the biggest eyes but dropped two easy passes. The first one, they made up for it and scored on the next play. The second one led to a field goal which cost them the game. The pats also got burned by the refs for not calling a pass interference on 4th down on that set. Yet they say that crew calls the least amount of pass interfernces out of any of them.

The stop and go lets people drink more. Baseball is probably worse.

What drives me nuts is some of my american friends will tell me that hockey is boring and nothing happens. I argue and say bull, the games moves at a constant pace. I tell them football can be boring. Do a play, they tackle the guy, they stand around and talk about it, then do it agian. I also argued with my friend Scott who told me all football players are in better shape then hockey players. i know he said that proposely to piss me off.

Football players are probably the unfittest sportsmen of them all, they would win in full on power events but I doubt they would be able to do it over and over again. its too specialised a sport to be really fit. We used to have a tv show over here that tested all the different sportsmen in different disciplines and the winners were usually something odd.

I watch both Canadian and American football. No Offence but the CFL owners fight just as bad as the NHL ones, but the CFL has a lot guys that are rejects from the NFL. Both can be boring, but I prefer the NFL.
