That speed skating kind of has some suspense to it with guys hanging back and going for the big pass. I was watching that race. The Koreans were 1,2,3 on the last turn and the 3rd place dude tried to pass his 2nd place teammate and took them both out. He's gonna face the firing squad back home now. Ohno wouldn't even have medaled.

No, the 2 Americans that got the silver and bronze would've been out if those 2 Koreans hadn't have been knocked out. But, yeah, I just wonder what the press in South Korea is saying.

I'll update this thing later in the week. Right now, I'm tired but I don't want to go to sleep too soon, as I want to get up at 3 in the morning and catch the 5:45 bus.

How's everyone been finding the Olympic coverage on CTV?
I think it sucks shit. Constant replays of stuff I've seen (or two day old shit even) while other events I want to see get missed or are on a complete different specialty cable channel I don't have. Even trying to find start times for some events has been a complete joke. I hope CTV doesn't get any future coverage contracts and it goes back to CBC.

Specialty? It's been on TSN, Sportsnet, OLN, APTN and CPAC. None of those are digital and the last 2 are on basic. I don't know what channels you get, Jay. As well, all of the events are being streamed online.

None of those channels are digital in Edmonton. APTN is ch 108, CPAC is French and it's 113, both of which aren't digital.

We have the basic package of Shaw digital cable. We don't get Sportsnet or OLN. Have no idea what CPAC is. It's just been frustrating seeing some of the same shit and not being able to watch other hockey games. Women's curling has me totally irritated. They should be embarrassed to squeal like pigs the way they do.

All the hockey will be on now I guess but it would have been nice to see those Slovakia upsets.

I got to watch all the games live, even the women's 5th/6th and 7th/8th place games. At least the ones I didn't sleep through, like today's Finland/Slovakia game.

I must be just really unluckey then because everything I watch on either CTV or TSN, I turn to the other station just to see it all over again. I saw that me's gold speed skating like 4 or 5 times in a row the other night right after it happened. It was great, but lets not play it to death.

Last night, everything other than the bronze medal hockey game was over by 7. So it was just replays of speedskating or parallel giant slalom or curling or the figure skating gala.
