Hard to say who'll win the US/Sweden game. It always seems that those 2 countries have some animosity. Should be a good one. Let both teams beat each other up and have nothing for the gold medal game. ;D

Well good game. They seemed to pick it up more as the game went on. Can't get into penalty trouble like that in the gold medal game.
You'd think Fugli is done with the IIHF zero tolerance.

well hope he does get suspended from the bronze medal game Yeah. If it had a good clean hit, I could just say that that's part of the game. But hitting from behind for no reason is totally uncalled for.

Did we have our game first due to goal differential or was it just random scheduling and work out that way?

seems typical with players u win by a big score and yet someone needs to take action wether ur injuring a player or so they dont care except they still have a game to go

I don't know if he got a game misconduct. I assume he did. And it might mean an automatic 1 game suspension under IIHF rules.

The Banana Hamonic may have a dislocated/seperated shoulder since he wasn't really moving his left arm at all.

I thought they changed it from a 2 minute minor, to a 5 minute major and a game. So I think he did.

Did we have our game first due to goal differential or was it just random scheduling and work out that way? There was something about Canada being in the afternoon game if they were in the semis. Plus it's more fair since the Americans played last night. They didn't have to play in the afternoon after a night game.

More fair? Fairer? The fairest of them all? I'll let Jaime deal with your grammar/spelling. Well adios. I'm off to discover that thing called food.

So, to lose 6-1 where they battled hard, I guess they'd let their emotions get away. Plus it was a hard hitting game. Still no excuse, though. He could've hit one of our guys hard but legally if he wanted to get it out of his system.

I also see that the Czechs pasted Latvia 10-2. Really surprised to see the Czechs in the relegation round and Russia going for 5th place.

Watching today's game, I had a hard time getting into it. I found the game very anti-climatic. Tonight's game, I am pulling for the States. My reasoning, I think the Canadians have more to prove against the Americans. The Yanks, for all of 15 minutes, looked like tehbetter team when these two played last.
